About Jane

I’ve enjoyed taking photographs from when I was given my first camera at about 8 years old and took pictures of my teddybears in the garden. Since then it was always me who would take pictures at school, parties and holidays. It does mean that I’ve got a great load of memories from these times.

Then, in my 20’s, I went off travelling to USA, India and Asia and Australia and fell in love with a different type of photography – what is now known as reportage. I would just sit back and watch. What fun! I loved it and that was when I knew that I wanted to do this for a living. I got back from my travels and was introduced to a fantastic photographer who taught me all about press photography and what makes a good picture.

That was it, I was hooked.

I was taking pictures of absolutely everything from school fairs to royals and celebs and had some amazing experiences such as going in a small airship to take pictures of well known landmarks. While I was doing this work I would also do a few weddings too, so it felt like a natural progression to concentrate on weddings after the press work. I love what I do – how else would I get to go to so many weddings in a year otherwise. It’s a priviledge to be asked to capture your day and I hope you feel that the pictures show this.

Do give me a buzz or e-mail me to find out some more information and arrange to meet up. On the wedding day I’ll take pictures from when the bride is getting ready up until the first dance. This will give you a wonderful memory of the day with a mixture of formal and informal pictures. I’m happy to travel for a wedding and love doing so as it’s always intriguing to see new venues!

I really look forward to hearing from you and chatting with you about your day.

Thanks

Jane
